What's Up Destinations? It's Destinae! How are you guys doing today? 

It has been a bit since I made a post, but I have officially moved into my room and started my big girl job, so I've been supppperrrrr tired. However, that does not mean I forgot about you guys! As soon as I saw I had a day off today, I started planning my blog post and pulled out my Twilight Sparkle keyboard (everypony stop!) So, today is gonna be a list of things I want/ am getting for my new bedroom. For reference, I don't have a distinct style or anything, but I love cozy areas with no overhead light and colors like green, beige, and kinda bohemian, so you'll see that mostly in some of the inspo or at least ideas. 

#1: I NEED A BED!!! I am planning to get a full-size bed since I don't really move in my sleep at all. I stay to one side, so honestly a twin could also do. But hey, what if one day I decide to move in my sleep? I want that extra leeway.  I have been thinking of a bed with a wood/ wicker basket type of feel.. 

These are some of the ones I have saved. I may not get these exact ones, but I like these alot!

Next up, with a bed, I need a comforter/duvet set! So #2: comforter, sheets, and pillows. I have been debating a lot of different sets because I want to change sheets with the season, so I wanted a versatile set that can go with some of the main colors of each season. Ex: orange/green/brown- fall, red/white/green- winter/chirstmas, and pinks or white for summer and spring. I think I have mentally come to a decision based on some reels I saw (L O L). 

Next up: A VANITY!! I've been wanting a vanity for so long, with a mirror and lights and storage and everything. I love doing my makeup, hair, or reading at my desk, and I think a vanity would satisfy that need. Here's some ideas I was looking at 

I need more decor, like rugs, lamps, and nightstands, but these are the top three on my priority list. I'll update you guys with the final product! I hope you guys enjoy this post and look for the week of September 22nd because the blog is going to be doing a little revamp to a new destination! Anyways, Until our Next Destination!  What's Up Destinations? It's Destinae! How are you guys doing today? 

I don't really have much to post today, but since it's the last day of August, I thought, why not? I wanted to make this shorter and more like a month reflection. At the beginning of the month, I moved. I moved from where I was born and raised. I moved from where I made the most memories and where I felt happiest. That's okay; people move every day, not a big deal. At least, that's what I've been telling myself. As this month is coming to an end. I come to realize that things move on; life goes on. I'm healthy, I'm happy, I still have so much to look forward to. With that being said, I just wanted to write this to remind myself or others that it's okay. It's okay if things aren't going as planned, or things feel out of whack, because one day at least one thing will be according to plan. Whether that be your coffee order was perfect, or your makeup came out really cute, or you're having a good hair day. Small things like that can help you get through the bigger things, and that's what I realized this month. Prepare for the worst and look foward to the best. 

Side note. I want to change my blog's theme to match the season. However, it's harder than I thought. I am debating between keeping the purple and going for a purple fall/ halloween kinda like black cat and witch type of thing, but I love a Tuscan-style, cozy, pumpkin spice fall. I know everyone does, but still. I'm not sure unless I make two changes to the theme before the winter christmas/birthday change. Please lmk what you guys wanna see!
